All-New "Wicked" Special to Air on NBC and Peacock This Fall Ahead of the Theatrical Release of "Wicked: For Good" on November 21

Previously announced at the NBCU Upfront presentation, Academy Award®-nominated stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will lead a one-time-only two-hour Wicked special event at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock. 

In celebration of Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated film Wicked: For Good, Erivo and Grande will be joined by their co-stars and other surprise guests to perform many songs from the first movie — and maybe, just maybe, a little bit from the upcoming film. 

Wicked, released last November, became a global phenomenon and grossed more than $750 million at the worldwide box office to become the biggest Broadway musical adaptation of all time. The film went on to become Universal’s biggest PVOD title of all time and Peacock’s biggest Pay 1 streaming launch ever. 

Wicked garnered 10 Academy Award® nominations, securing two wins. Ben Winston will Executive Produce with Fulwell Entertainment serving as the production company. Raj Kapoor also serves as Executive Producer.
